These are the bomb - They are so simple to make and taste great. I am lucky enough to have a great butcher who makes a spicy Italian sausage that is just perfect for these.
Ingredients
- 4 Pork sausages (spicey)
- 1 Puff pastry sheet
- 1 Pinch of fennel seeds
- 1 Pinch of chilli flakes
- 1 Egg whisked or milk
Instructions
- Place pastry on the bench and allow to thaw
- Cut sheet in strips of 3
- Cut sausage skins off and place pieces matching in length onto strips
- Roll the sausages into pastry and cut off excess length
- Place on a lined baking tray and brush with either beaten egg or milk
- Sprinkle with fennel seeds and chilli flakes
- Bake in oven at 180-90deg for 35-40min
- Remove and place on wire rack to cool
